A day at the seaside

I recently downloaded the Cross Process app for iPhone 5  and was keen to have a little play with it.  The app is quite similar to Instagram in many ways with its washed-out vintage look & feel and borders.  Works great if you look for obscure objects or try to find a different angle or an unconventional crop to make it more interesting.

A day trip to Brighton recently was the perfect occasion to test drive it.  Its seafront offers endless great photo opportunities. People, buildings, the piers and the sea are obvious subjects but I like to seek out the less obvious stuff.  I was particularly drawn to the wispy clouds in the sky which always make a great background.
